My name is Emma, a Mexican-American girl living in Chicago, Illinois. I'm passionate about the intersection of technology + ethics, closing the Latina gap in STEM, and female empowerment.

In college, I aim to pursue studies as a computer science major to become immersed into data science and AI. I'm an aspiring Data Scientist and AI Ethicist who works in the colliding worlds of AI and human-computer interaction.

I love to spend my time watching rom-coms, reading YA books, listening to The Marías, spending time with friends + family, and munching on paletas de fresas con crema.
